Miles for men's mental health. North Devon Hospice Rugby Ramble

If you are out an about on the Tarka Trail this March, you may find the trail full of blokes wearing wooly hats and eating pasties. They will be the Rugby Ramblers raising money for the North Devon Hospice.

The Rugby Ramble is an annual event organised by the North Devon Hospice in which men are invited to take part in a sponsored walk to help raise funds for the hospice.

The event is timed to coincide with one of the Six Nations games and this year it will be England V Ireland on Saturday 18th March.

The walk is between Bideford Rugby Club and Barnstaple Rugby Club. The game will be available to watch at either club once the walk is complete.

The distance between both clubs is 11 miles and is accessible via the Tarka Trail.

The theme for this year’s event is Mile’s for Men’s Mental Health, offering North Devon guys access to emotional support, as they face an illness like cancer or the loss of someone they love.

It’s a fun event and a great way to raise money for a great cause.
